Review Policy

Cocoa With Books is currently accepting, at my discretion, ARCs and finished copies of books for review consideration.

Please read my entire review policy before emailing your request.

General Information

I work full time and am a mom of three young children, so I balance how many books I accept for reviews. I appreciate your review request, however if you don’t hear back from me, either your book did not align with my interests or I may not be able to accept it due to time constraints. Most of the books I review come from the library, personal purchases or ARCs sent to me by publishers via NetGalley.

I only write honest reviews. Reviews are not guaranteed to be positive. I reserve the right to decline to post a review or promote a book that I do not enjoy or do not finish. I do not currently use a star rating system on my website, but I do rate books on GoodReads, Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Please take some time to become familiar with my review style and my book interests (listed below) before requesting a review. Thank you for your interest.

Where Reviews are Posted

I post full reviews on this blog, Cocoa With Books and on Tumblr. I post shorter versions on GoodReads, Instagram, and Twitter that have taglines/links that lead back to this website for the full review. I post shorter versions on Barnes & Noble and Amazon as well upon request.
