Reading this book was like a warm and cozy hug. The fall themed illustrations wrap around you as read about all of the animals gathering their supplies for the winter. It draws a beautiful parallel between the gathering that animals do and the gathering that many humans do for Thanksgiving. A perfect book for calm bedtime read aloud. I’ll be keeping this one in the rotation for read alouds.
