By the time I hit fifth grade the Wayside School Series were among my favorite books to read. They were definitely a solid score from the Scholastic catalog. This was wackiest, weirdest school ever! I sat at my desk during silent reading alternating between raising my eyebrows and chuckling as quietly as I could manage. The stories and characters in this school were hilarious!
When I looked this title up recently, I learned that a fourth book was released in March 2020 for the Wayside School Series. I can’t wait to check out the 3rd and 4th installments of the series. Those two books were not available when I was reading the series initially. I am also considering doing a re-read of the series with my oldest child.
